Clean up after your pets
Posted on May 8th, 2019
Please remember to clean up after your pets. There has been an increase in the number of "presents" left on people's lawns. If you do clean up after your pets please do not leave the full bag on someone else's property for them to deal with it. It's your poop - dispose of it at your house.

If your kids walk your dog - remind them that they need to pick up the poop and bring it home to dispose of it.

This rule (yes, it's in our covenants) also applies to the common areas within our community. Pets are to be kept on leashes AT ALL TIMES in our community, except for in your fenced yard (Town rule). If you are close enough to walk your pet on a leash, you're close enough to pick up the poop.

If you recognize anyone who lets their dog poop without picking it up, please let us know immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Most changes to the exterior appearance of your home will require the approval of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). This includes things like fences, sheds, patios, decks, driveways, sidewalks, pools, revising color schemes, and more.  You can submit your request online here.  The design guidelines can be found here.

Please note that the ARC has 60 days to review a project before making a decision.  Please take this into consideration when planning your project.

Any construction project needs to be approved by the Town of Walkersville.  A helpful guide to the approval process by type of project can be found here
